Berlin II

It’s not until we dash through the closing doors and sit down on the hard plastic seats of the U-Bahn that we feel the ache in our legs. There’s always something to distract you around each new corner – even on unassuming residential streets – to keep your mind off how many miles you have walked already. At the end of each day we find ourselves with full bellies, sticky fingers (the miles are fuelled by doughnuts) and too many photos to fit into one, or even two blog posts. But those photos have become over time inextricably enmeshed with memories, bringing back taste, sound, and the feeling of sitting down after your feet have followed your curiosity all day. Photos from May 2018.
