Netherfield Lagoons

A Friday evening last April, working through our lunch break so that we could switch off our computers earlier than usual to catch the newly lengthening evening. Throwing leftovers and our binoculars in a bag and walking along the river, the sun was warm and bright, dappling through the trees. The light stretched long through the reeds as the sun went down.
